Instructions for Use
1.The Equilume™ Light Mask should be activated before being fitted onto the horse.
2.The Equilume™ Light Mask is designed to be activated at 16:00 hrs between June 15th and July 1st (SH)/ November 15th and December 1st (NH), in advance of the breeding season.
⁃Slowly wave Equilume™ Activator Wand across cup surface four times
⁃Observe that blue light turns on
⁃Equilume™ Light Mask will be active for seven hours from time of activation (16:00 - 23:00)
⁃The device will automatically turn on every day thereafter. Once the blue light is observed to come on the mask is set for the season and can remain on the horse for the full treatment period.
NB: The Light Mask contains a light sensor so will switch off after 30 seconds when the environmental light conditions are still bright. The blue light will come on automatically when ambient light decreases. Do not try to restart the light mask if you see the light go off. This will only de-activate the timer.
⁃Wave Equilume™ Activator Wand across cup slowly four times
⁃Green light will pulse four times
⁃Repeat activation instructions to re-activate the light when required
5.The lithium ion batteries are enclosed in a metal box for safety and durability. They are designed to power the EquilumeTM Light Mask for an entire breeding season and are not re-chargeable.
